The Fisher Effect formula shows the relationship between nominal and real interest rates. Here is a rundown of what the formula is and how to apply it to rates of change in nominal and real values. I’ve also made a new html5 review game (mobile compatible) with 15 questions and explanations to help students practice with the Fisher equation. Good luck on your next exam!

Monetary Policy
This is likely to be my last game for the year. It is a 15 question monetary policy multiple choice game. I am going to work on migrating the site to wordpress for next year. I expect it’s going to take quite a bit of time so wish me luck! In the mean time, here is that game.
Fiscal Policy and AS/AD
Here is the next multiple choice practice game. I have one more to go before this year’s exam!
This one covers AS/AD, Propensities and Multipliers, the Phillips Curve, Loanable Funds Markets, and Fiscal Policy. Also, it is mobile compatible so you can practice on the go!
Unit 1 Macro Multiple Choice
Here is another multiple choice practice game. This one has 5 questions covering some topics that also appear on the micro exam (opportunity cost, scarcity, comparative advantage, etc) along with 10 questions from macro basics (circular flow, CPI, unemployment, GDP, etc).
The game will help diagnose what topics in this unit you need extra practice with and it will time you so you know if you are working quickly enough.

The End of Micro… For now.
As I head into finals with my own AP Economics students, it’s time for me to move on to Macro for the rest of the year; at least until review for the AP Exam starts. But before I shift gears, I had to add one more set of multiple choice and flashcard reviews for factor markets and market failures.
These activities include 15 multiple choice questions with explanations along with 35 flashcard questions. They are also mobile compatible so you can easily study on the go.
Market Structures
I’m continuing to make multiple choice practice and flashcard review activities as my focus for the year. Here are the next two. 15 multiple choice questions on market structures, and 63 flash cards to review all the important concepts in this difficult unit.
These two bring the total number of activities on ReviewEcon.com to 50. There are now over 900 questions and more than 500 flashcards covering all aspects of Micro and Macro for AP, IB, and College.
These 2 new activities are html5 so they are mobile compatible!
Supply and Demand
Here is are two activities for Micro unit 2. One multiple choice game with 15 questions that tracks time and helps diagnose and a flashcard review with 70 questions.
These games are html5 so they are mobile compatible!
Back to Macro
Now that I’m back from winter break, it’s time to get back to work making new ways to review an prep for economics exams. Since I teach on a 4 x 4 block schedule, I start the new year with new classes and I restart my curriculum. That is why my first two activities for the year are for Micro Unit 1. One activity is a 15 question timed diagnostic multiple choice practice game and the other is 25 Micro Basics flash cards. Both games are HTML5 so they work on mobile.

Micro 30 Question MC
Another 30 question diagnostic exam is done. This one is on microeconomics. Each question includes a detailed explanation and the game helps students keep track of their speed with an AP Exam calibrated timer. After students finish the exam, they get a break down of their score by question topic. Check it out and let me know what you think by clicking the contact button in the footer.
